All action around Finzean!

We’ve been taking good advantage of the weather and tractors of all shapes and sizes have been in action around Finzean.

Our Next Buffet Night – Friday 11th May

We’re going to have a Springtime Italian theme to our next buffet…..call to book!

BUFFET EVENING FRIDAY, 11 MAY 2012 Bread, olives, parmesan biscuits & charcuteries on each table to start   ~~~~~ Mediterranean chicken with roasted garlic & basil dressing Monkfish & parma ham parcels Courgette & halloumi cheese fritters with radush tzatziki Piedmontese peppers Grilled asparagus with parmesan Jersey Royal new potatoes with a mint dressing Springtime salad leaves  ~~~~~ Pavlova with berries Rhubarb shortbread crumble tart Lemon possets ~~~~~  Coffee, tea and infusions

David’s Walking Sticks

It appears that David, as well as being a talented cook, is also pretty good at crafting beautiful walking sticks out of hazelwood and

deer antlers. He’s made a few to sell in the Farmshop but hurry as they will no doubt be very popular.

Oystercatchers out in force

The oystercatchers are out in pairs all around Finzean. Last year one laid an egg in the Farmshop carpark so we had to rope the area  off until it had hatched!
