Sorry we’ve been so silent….

July 19, 2012

Sorry we’ve been so silent as we’ve been away.  The Farmshop meanwhile has been busy with lots of holidaymakers passing by and finally we’ve managed to get all the silage cut on the farm.  One of the knock on effects of this year’s weather was that the pigeons were unable to feed on the clover which usually starts growing after the cutting of the silage.  As everything was late and the clover wasn’t available at the usual time, the pigeons resorted to eating the newly sown turnip seeds which had been planted for the cattle….oh the joys of rain!
